Admin Times on MAR and TAR Reports

This topic is intended for Independent pharmacies only and is not applicable to Rexall pharmacies.

If dosage times were entered for a prescription, they appear on the MAR and TAR reports.

On the MAR and TAR by Dosage reports, medications are separated based on their dosage times. If a patient belongs to a retail group, Passtimes must be entered in the Administration Details window for them to populate on the report. If a patient belongs to a non-retail group, Admin Times must be entered. If Passtimes/Admin Times are not entered for a prescription, the medication appears under the heading "NO DOSAGES/ADMIN TIMES ENTERED".

On all other MAR and TAR reports, commas are used to separate Admin Times for each medication on the report. Each comma signifies one time slot. Commas entered before an Admin Time and extra commas in between Admin Times are reflected on the report as empty time slots (see Table 1 for examples). If Admin Times are not entered for a prescription, no times appear for the medication in the Hours column of the report.
